This black mulberry jam has the least amount of added sugar of all our jams (the mulberries are naturally very sweet, so they don't require much sugar to make a delicious jam). By using less sugar we're able to capture that phenomenal mulberry flavor clearly - the jam tastes like fresh mulberries!

But because it's a low-sugar recipe we do recommend eating it within a couple weeks of opening the jar (sugar acts as a natural preservative - so the less sugar a jam has, the more perishable it is once opened).
